April and Austin are the kind of couple you meet and ask, “are they ACTUALLY this sweet?” The answer is yes. Yes they are, and I had the absolute pleasure of capturing their wedding here in Yuma, Arizona. We started their day at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. This is one of my favorite wedding venues in Yuma for its tall ceilings and gorgeous stained glass windows that stream in some of the prettiest light I have ever seen. The atmosphere is ethereal. April entered the church, beautiful as ever with her mom and dad at her side. I looked at Austin to see his reaction and there he was, smile ear to ear just beaming at his bride. They had a traditional Catholic ceremony and a beautiful mass to celebrate their marriage. We went to the west wetlands park in Yuma to take their portrait photos and even though it was windy and a little bit rainy, the dark skies made for some gorgeous and moody photos. April and Austin had their reception at the wedding venue at Julieanna’s, a restaurant here in Yuma filled with exotic birds and beautiful landscaping. Their reception was filled with white florals and greenery, twinkle lights and chandeliers. Dinner was served and April and Austin’s siblings toasted to them with champagne and sweet speeches. Everyone danced the night away and we ended the evening with a sparkler send off. I will forever be honored and blessed to have captured the love between these two. So just take a look for yourself.
